Hollow silence
Hollow silence
Screams louder than any word,
An empty room
Where hope once lived.
I reach for fading echoes
But they recede,
In shadows
Taking what I still need.
The absence of light
Is like a wound without a name,
bruning me in blue flames.
The vows you whispered seemed so true
And I wanted to believe
Deep down you also cared
For me
But the lie shattered now
And all I see
A grave of what I knew.
Betrayal tastes like iron -
Sticky and sweet,
I can tell no lies
Cause its a story
Broken before it could begin.
My heart — an orphan left in the bitter rain,
clutching broken fragments of love
That now have turned to pain.
Abandonment lingers
Like a ghost at my door,
reminding me gently you are no more.
And in its moment of weakness
I finally see,
I was left all alone,
Searching where my life ceased to be.
