Shadows speak for you
Whispering specters drift unseen
Through the veil of shadows,
Where the eternal night whispers my name
Like a silent thrum within my chest,
That's getting louder and louder,
Driving the night insane.
Only a witch’s hand
Makes me shiver beyond recognition,
An apple’s glimmer from her hand
And a shadow watching my soul
Call forth the old curse in me.
In those moonless hours,
A demon awaits,
Hungering not for my flesh
But the radiant light within.
So what is the price to break a soul's curse?
Silent, trembling, unnamed—
As the ancient tale returns
Carrying new faces and old grudges.
And somewhere in the darkness,
A silent voice shouts out a warning:
We all are marked.
Every heart knows its cost.
But sometimes, you only learn its name
When the shadows
Speak it for you.
